Before you post an image on your website, you have to upload the image somewhere ONLINE. There are plenty of websites that offer free webspace to store your files (including myspace.com).
Do not try to link the image from your C drive because you will be the only one to see it!.

The url of an image can be found by right-clicking your mouse on the image and selecting properties.
Then highlight the link in the middle that says URL and copy/paste into the code above. An example would look like this:
Right click your mouse over the image you want (the image must be on a website for this to work). A grey box pops up dispaying "properties" on the bottom.
Scroll your mouse down until "properties" is highlighted. Then left-click your mouse.
A different square grey box pops up displaying the URL address in the middle.
Highlight the address and copy/paste it inside the code where it calls for the URL.

Replace the question marks with any number (average size is 200 width and 200 height)
To turn an image into a thumbnail picture, use:
Replace PAGE URL with the url of the page you want your visitor sent to when they click on the image. Replace PIC URL with the url of the image. The width and height of the image can be changed to any number but the numbers I have put in there show the best effect.
Put the pic URL in every spot in the code that asks for it. *works best with small images*
